The Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Youth Orchestra, known as “PYO,” has been established with the vision to promote and develop young talented Thai musicians in the skill of orchestral playing since 2013.
Selected from hundreds of applicants from universities and schools throughout Bangkok, 62 of the finest players are now embarking on a musical exploration in our concert season.
From our philosophy “PYO Experiences – Explore, Exchange, Excel”, we aspire to support our young talents in pursuit of musical excellence.
Our orchestral training program will allow them to gain experience in the art of orchestral playing while meeting friends and colleagues who share the same passion for music making.
