Romantic painter Joseph Mallord William Turner, also known as J. M. W. Turner or William Turner, was a famous British watercolor artist. He meditated on the rising significance of personal experiences in the Enlightenment age when human perception led to elevated personal experiences and exquisite relationships with nature, and in doing so, Turner’s landscapes were imbued with new vitality.
